Mio divorced her husband before her child was old enough to remember and works hard to forget her sadness. She came to a hot spring inn on her first vacation in a while. She is served by a young man who works at the inn she visits. At first, she said that she was a cheerful young man, but the pendant that her young man was wearing was the same as the one that Mio had given her when they parted ways. The young man is convinced that he is his son. Mio hears from her young man that her father ran away at night, leaving behind debts, and that her guarantors son works at an inn from morning until night.
